Why Rep. Nick Lampson Is "Bought and Paid
For" By The Homosexual Lobby...
| Rep. Nick Lampson
takes money from homosexual activists and then votes their
agenda in Congress. He has voted against the Marriage
Protection Act
and supports homosexual marriage- and
even wants the taxpayer to subsidize homosexual immigration.
Now, Nick Lampson is again taking money from homosexual activists
to pull the wool over our eyes one more time.
Nick
Lampson and his homosexual friends probably think Southeast Texans are too
stupid to figure out their scheme. They probably think they can pump
in some liberal money from New York and San Francisco, pay for some slick
ads, and the "hicks" back in "flyover country" will
never figure it out.
The shocking details are
below... |
If you're concerned about the future of our country,
and especially what you can do personally to defend the traditional
family, then this might be the most important message you read this
election year.
Here's why:
Many people think it's important to re-elect President
Bush. But let's face it: Texas is going to vote for Bush in a
landslide. The place
where we can really make a difference is in local Congressional
races.
With the huge push this year
and last to force states to accept homosexual marriage, I wanted to find a way to get involved to make an impact for
pro-family issues.
However, I assumed that our local
representatives were doing the right thing- whether they were Republican
or Democrat, I assumed that they would vote against gay marriage and
support other important pro-family issues, especially since Southeast
Texas is a pretty conservative area...
I Was Shocked When I
Found Out That a Liberal Extremist Represented Southeast Texas in
Congress
Our representative here in Beaumont is Rep.
Nick Lampson, former tax assessor and a career politician, who, despite
the conservatism of our area, votes like a New York liberal on issues
relating to families (click on the link to verify for each issue):
-
Nick
Lampson supports homosexual marriage through politically-motivated
doubletalk about his record, making voting commitments to
homosexual lobbyists, taking money from homosexual PAC's, supporting
"back door" federal legislation with loopholes that
recognize homosexual unions, and refusals to curtail activist
liberal federal judges from interfering with the traditional
definition of marriage- he then lies to his constituents about his
positions- find out more about this issue.
-
Nick Lampson
voted to allow local funds in Washington, DC to be used to force
the Boy Scouts to reinstate two gay leaders and pay them $100,000-
Lampson wants homosexuals to have easy access to your children and
wants the Boy Scouts to "pay up" for offending the
homosexual lobby. Source: HRC
Website Scorecard, Description
-
Nick Lampson voted
against
the Marriage Protection Act (Source: Congressional Record,
HR 3313, July 2004)-
this bill would have restricted the
jurisdiction of activist federal judges over state marriage laws.
-
Nick Lampson voted
AGAINST banning homosexuals from adopting children in Washington, DC
(Reference: Amendment introduced by Largent, R-OK; Bill
HR 2587 ; vote number 1999-346
on Jul 29, 1999)- given homosexuals' notorious promiscuity (i.e.
preventing a stable home environment) and their propensity to molest children
(crime statistics reveal male homosexuals are 16 times more likely to
molest children than the general population), such a policy is a crime
against children from a politician that promotes himself as an
advocate of children.
-
Nick Lampson voted
NO to
make harming a fetus a federal crime (Source: Congressional Record,
February 2004, Bill HR 1997, Vote
2004-31)- this bill would have stiffened criminal penalties against
those who harm a fetus in the commission of a crime. Lampson is
so sold out to pro-abortion extremists that he "towed the line"-
extremist groups such as NOW (National Organization of Women) care
more about denying fetuses "personhood" under the law than
punishing criminals who harm them.
-
Nick Lampson voted
NO on banning US foreign aid money to fund abortions overseas (Source: Congressional
Record, May 2001, Bill HR 1646, Vote 2001-115)- Lampson wants to export America's
Abortion
Holocaust to other countries.
-
Nick Lampson
co-sponsored HR
1343, a so-called "hate crimes" bill that could make
"intimidation" of homosexuals a federal felony (Source:
Congressional Record, April 2001)- many conservatives believe such a
bill is a "back door" liberals will use to imprison
Christians (such as pastors who preach the Biblical position on
homosexuality) who speak out against the homosexual agenda. Lampson
supports this kind of Orwellian "thought crime" legislation
that increases penalties because of the political opinions of the
perpetrator- these laws are already on the books in Europe, and
many pastors have been imprisoned for expressing or publishing
opinions critical of the homosexual "lifestyle."
-
Nick Lampson
supports
abortion (i.e. the killing of innocent children), yet opposes the death penalty for murderers
and cosponsored a bill calling for a moratorium on the death penalty (Source: Congressional
Record, March 2001, Bill HR
1038)- typical of wishy-washy liberals, Lampson has a
soft spot for thugs on death row (most of whom have previous felonies
anyway) but can't bring himself to defend the most innocent victims.
-
Nick Lampson voted for
coddling criminals with "alternative sentencing" and
supports decreasing funds for building prisons (Source: Congressional
Record, June 2000, HR 4690, Vote
2000-317)- again, Lampson has a soft spot for criminals and
cares more about funding expensive programs to help felons get in
touch with their feelings than keeping the rest
of us safe.
-
Nick
Lampson cosponsored the Permanent Partners Immigration Act, a bill that would
allow homosexual immigrants to bring their partners to the US
(Source: Congressional Record, HR
832)- 70%
of Americans want less immigration, but Lampson wants to throw open
the borders to millions of homosexuals who will not only take American
jobs but also worsen the AIDS epidemic (including free health care
once they get here) in our country.
-
Nick
Lampson cosponsored legislation that would make employment
"discrimination" against homosexuals a federal crime (Source:
Congressional Record, HR
2692)-
this would make criminals of Christian business owners who want to
maintain a Christian and family-friendly work environment.
You may find
it hard to believe that in our own backyard, Southeast Texas, we have a
representative as liberal and counter to our values as Nick Lampson.
I was skeptical myself when I first learned of these facts. But
like all things in life, things become clear when you follow the money. Nick
Lampson Sells Out Texas Values for "Thirty Pieces of Silver"
from the Homosexual Lobby As
I researched Nick Lampson more thoroughly, I took a look at his campaign
finance filings with the federal government to figure who was funding his
campaign against family values. It didn't take long before I found
the smoking gun:
The
image you see above is what I saw on my computer on August 24, 2004 on the
website of the deceptively named homosexual lobbying group "Human
Rights Campaign." The HRC is by far the leading special
interest group catering to the homosexual vote. Nick
Lampson is one of six candidates the HRC has targeted as
"quality" candidates to advance their anti-family agenda. Out
of 435 members of the House of Representatives, Nick Lampson is one of the
six favorites of the most powerful homosexual lobbying group in
Washington. It
gets even worse. If
you look carefully at the image above, you'll see that the HRC has
instructed its members and supporters to send money to Nick Lampson's
campaign. Note that the HRC website is accessed by users in every
state and foreign country. In other words, they are actively
recruiting money from all over the United States (and possibly from
foreign countries) to send down to Southeast Texas and attempt to buy
off our election in Nick Lampson's favor. Most
people find such a scheme to be at least deceptive and at worst dishonest. To
date, Nick Lampson has personally accepted over $7000 from the HRC
directly, and an untold amount from individual contributors at the HRC
website. This money will be directly used to corrupt our Congressional election. Why
Is Nick Lampson Attempting to Hide His Ties to the Homosexual Lobby
Financing His Campaign? When
Nick Lampson isn't enjoying his $155,000 Washington salary paid for by the
US taxpayer (in fact, as a career politician, Lampson has milked over
$1,000,000 from Southeast Texas taxpayers in lavish salaries from the
political positions he's held), he visits his constituents and projects an
image as a "hometown leader" who represents the wishes of his
constituents. What
he doesn't do is publicize his connections to the homosexual lobby.
In no public statements nor on his website does Lampson ever own up to his
associations with anti-family special interests. Nick
Lampson and his liberal friends probably think Southeast Texans are too
stupid to figure out their scheme. They probably think they can pump
in some liberal money from New York and San Francisco, pay for some slick
ads, and the "hicks" back in "flyover country" will
never figure it out. His
behavior is consistent with a career politician who's arrogant and
out-of-touch with the people that elected him in the first place. That's
the main reason I decided to do something- it would be a tragedy if Nick
Lampson and his liberal friends were able to pull this off. I hope
you'll help me make sure they won't... Here's
Why You Should Help Defeat Nick Lampson's and the Homosexual Lobby's
Scheme to Steal Our Election I
know everyone has different political opinions. That's what makes
America great- we argue at election time and then we get on with
business. Even if you don't agree with everything I've said on this
site, I hope you'll consider the following:
-
Do
you think Southeast Texas ought to be represented by a pro-abortion
liberal in bed with feminist extremists?
-
Do
you think Southeast Texas ought to be represented by a far-left
criminal coddler who wants taxpayers to pay for felons to get in touch
with their feelings?
-
Do
you agree with Nick Lampson that the death penalty should be halted in
Texas?
-
Do
you agree with Nick Lampson that we ought to stop building prisons and
let dangerous criminals back on the streets?
-
Do
you agree with Nick Lampson that people who speak out against the
homosexual agenda should possibly be jailed for their opinions?
-
Do
you think, as Nick Lampson does, that taxpayer money should pay for
abortions in foreign countries?
-
Do
you think, as Nick Lampson does, that immigrants ought to be able to
bring their homosexual "partners" to America, take American
jobs and receive free health
care at taxpayer expense?
-
Do
you believe that small business owners and other employers ought to be
put in jail or fined if they don't want to hire a homosexual, even if it's
against their religious beliefs?
-
Do
you believe homosexuals should be able to adopt children into their
promiscuous lifestyle and
indoctrinate them with homosexual propaganda before they are able to
think for themselves (not even counting the increased risk of sexual
abuse)?
-
Do
you believe that liberal, activist judges should be able to force-feed homosexual marriage to states like
Texas that don't want it?
-
Are
you happy about Nick Lampson's attempt to recruit money from homosexual
activists to further finance his lies in this election?
If
you answered "no" to any of these questions, then I'm asking you to
vote against Nick Lampson. The Republican candidate is Judge Ted
Poe, a tough conservative who is the opposite of Lampson's mealy-mouthed
liberalism.
Now,
I know some may believe that voting for Nick Lampson is in their interest-
you may believe he will help your job or situation in life; maybe your
union leader has told you Nick Lampson will represent your interests. Maybe
you agree with conservatives on family issues but think conservatives will
hurt your financial interests. I leave you with the words of the
wisest man I've ever known, who said:
For
what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his
own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? - Matthew
16:26
To
me, the basic issues of marriage, family, abortion, defending children, and just plain honesty in
government are so basic that they come before everything else.
Without these basic foundations of our society, money and profit are empty
and devoid of value.
I
hope I've at least raised your awareness of some issues you will consider
when casting your vote.
If
you agree with me, here are 3 things you can do RIGHT NOW to make sure
Nick Lampson is held accountable for his misrepresentation of his
positions...
How
We Can Hold Nick Lampson Accountable for His Extremist Liberal Positions
-
Vote
for Lampson's opponent on election day- this is Judge Ted Poe.
You may not agree with Poe on all the issues (or maybe you do), but we
can all agree that it's time for someone new. Nick Lampson and
the homosexual lobby must not be rewarded for their dishonest attempt
to steal this election.

Join
our email list so we can send you updates on this site. We will
also send you a model email you can forward to everyone you know to
let them know about Lampson's extremist liberal positions and refer them to this website.
Again,
I believe this is the opportunity we have to make a difference in the 2004
elections.
Finally,
let me remind you of one additional issue: the person we send to Congress
every two years is the person that represents our region on the national
stage. Do we really want people to think things like- "I
thought Texas was a conservative place, but southeast Texas must be some
sort of liberal area because every two years they send this sold-out,
pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, criminal-coddling liberal to
Congress." Do we really want to be represented by someone
who has more in common with a Massachusetts liberal like Ted Kennedy than
President Bush?
I
hope you'll consider carefully who you send to represent YOU in Congress.
